Merry Christmas, Part Two

It’s Christmas Day. Gifts are being delayed until evening time, so I’m just lolling around here watching Christmas movies and enjoying some holiday cheer. Here’s some advice from me to you on this wonderful Christmas day.

Watch A Muppet Christmas Carol. This is the best strict adaptation version of A Christmas Carol. Michael Caine as Scrooge is one of the best Scrooges out there, right up with Alan Young as Scrooge McDuck.

Eat Haviland Thin Mints. A New England Christmas tradition, Haviland thin mints, made by the New England Confectionary Company (AKA Necco). They’re akin to York Peppermint Patties, except they’re smaller and you get a bunch in a box. Freeze them for more holiday fun!

Drink Peppermint martinis. Just not too many of them.

Make origami out of wrapping paper. Why let it all go to waste in the trash? The art of folding paper isn’t just for the other times of year, you know!

Make the map from NES Bionic Commando in the snow. What? My brothers and I did this. We’re not weirdos.

And lastly…

Have a merry Christmas.
