Today I’m off at the Rhode Island Airshow at Quonset Point Naval Air Station in Kingston, Rhode Island. The Thunderbirds will be in town, which is a good thing since I have not seen them in several years. I bought my 70-400 G in anticipation of this day. It’ll be a good opportunity to finally put it to use for my primary use.
Last year I had a combination of Tamron 70-200 and Minolta 400 G. It worked well enough, but swapping between lenses made me miss several shots. I’ll be looking forward to several different types of shots now that I can go from 70 to 400 in less than a second.
So, while I’m gone, enjoy this video.
