I live in Massachusetts. If you weren’t living under a rock, you may have heard that Ted Kennedy died last year. This has left a free senate seat available, and there’s a special election coming up between Democrat Martha Coakeley (the attorney general) and Republican Scott Brown.
Normally, I don’t get too involved in politics. I try to stay away from a lot of the bullshit. The problem comes when the bullshit starts coming to me. I’ve been getting assaulted with automated phone calls from out of state imploring me to vote for Scott Brown and railing on the “negative campaign” of Coakely. I haven’t been paying much attention to either campaign, but I know one way to make me ignore you is to play the woe is me card.
So, for the love of god, STOP CALLING ME. I don’t care, you’re both rotten scoundrels in my book, and I want nothing to do with you. You will receive nothing but contempt from me. Annoying people doesn’t get them to vote for you.
